Warm Hand-Off Program 

At Tower Health Reading Emergency Department

In conjunction with Tower Health Reading Hospital Emergency Department, TASC provides Drug and Alcohol intervention services to opiate overdose survivors, patients in opiate withdrawal, and patients using all other substances. These intervention services occur directly from Tower Health Reading Hospital Emergency Department on a 24/7 basis. TASC coordinates detoxification and residential treatment admissions, and Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Outpatient Treatment referrals for any patient who wants help. In addition, TASC's Warm Handoff program offers community-based Recovery Support Services to all Berks County clients through Tower Health's Center of Excellence Program.
